An exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team at Turtle House. Based in the quiet residential area of Covingham, Swindon with good public transport routes and easy access to shopping centres and social and recreational facilities. Turtle House is home to three individuals with learning disabilities, who being more mature, but still wanting to live life to the full, enjoy spending their time socialising with friends and family, going to the cinema, listening to music, shopping, visiting national parks, going on holiday, having a manicure, eating out in restaurants and pubs. If you like to bake, then this is the house for you, ‘Bake Off’ would come a poor second to some of the amazing cakes made by the individuals at Turtle House. Although not essential, drivers are preferred for this role to support the people we support out in activities of their choosing. We are looking for a Support worker who is. The shift pattern at Turtle House includes the following: 07.00-14.00 14.00-21.00 07.00-21.00 Waking Night: 22.00-07.00 You will be expected to work a variety of these shifts as part of the role and this will also include weekends. The role also includes regular periods of lone working.
