The Workday Testing Lead is responsible for defining and executing the testing strategy for the Workday implementation, ensuring quality delivery across all modules and integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and manage the overall Workday testing strategy and plan.
· Coordinate testing phases: Unit, SIT, UAT, Regression, and Parallel Payroll testing.
· Lead a team of testing consultants and business testers.
· Define test scenarios, scripts, and acceptance criteria.
· Manage defect triage and resolution processes.
· Collaborate with functional, integration, and security teams.
· Provide test status reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
· 6+ years of experience in ERP/HCM testing, with 3+ years in Workday.
· Experience leading testing in global Workday implementations.
· Strong knowledge of Workday modules and business processes.
· Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., ALM, JIRA, Zephyr).
· Excellent organizational and stakeholder communication skills.
Certifications Required/Preferred:
· ISTQB Foundation Level Certification (Required)
· Workday Pro Certification – HCM or Financials (Preferred)
· Agile or Scrum Certification (e.g., CSM, SAFe) (Preferred)
· Workday Testing Tools Training (e.g., Kainos Smart, Worksoft Certify) (Preferred if applicable)
