Job Title: Lead Network Engineer
Location: Remote (UK-based) with occasional travel to Leeds

* Design, implement, and support scalable and resilient network infrastructure

Required Skills and Experience:
* Deep understanding of enterprise networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.)
* Proven experience in network design, routing, switching, and load balancing
* Strong knowledge of network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention
* Experience with large-scale, cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI)
* Proficiency in automation and scripting (Ansible, Python, or similar)
* Hands-on experience with metrics, monitoring tools, and alerting frameworks
* Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and problem-solving mindset
* Strong leadership abilities to influence and mentor technical teams
