Job Role – Learning Support Assistant

Salary – £92 per day

Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help with learning.
* Offer emotional and pastoral support to students to improve their confidence and self-esteem.
* Help students with organisational skills, study techniques, and goal setting.
* Support students with specific learning needs, including those with SEN (Special Educational Needs).
* Foster a positive and inclusive school culture.
* Work closely with teachers and parents to track and review student progress.
* Contribute to the development of strategies to enhance student learning and well-being.
What we require:
* Previous experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with students
* ·A compassionate and proactive approach to supporting student development.
* A good understanding of the challenges some students face in learning and the strategies that can support them.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varied needs of students.
* A commitment to promoting equal opportunities and safeguarding.
* At least 6 months experience within the last 2 years ideally working with children and Special Educational Needs
* Enhanced DBS check on the online update service or willing to get one
* Ability to provide two professional childcare references within the last 2 years
