Practice Nurse Prescriber (V300) - Full Time
We are seeking an experienced and motivated PracticeNurse Prescriber V300 to join our clinical team on a full-time basis.
You will work autonomously within your scope of practice, providing high-quality nursing care, managing acute and chronic conditions, and undertaking independent prescribing where appropriate.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver nursing care across a range of clinical presentations
* Independently assess, diagnose, and manage patients, including prescribing V300
* Manage long-term conditions e.g. diabetes, asthma, COPD, hypertension
* Undertake cervical screening, immunisations, and travel health
* Provide wound care, contraception advice, and health promotion
* Support minor illness clinics and same-day access services if needed
* Maintain accurate clinical records in line with CQC and medico-legal standards
* Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and service development

* Knowledge of QOF-related coding
* Knowledge of Wandsworth LES DES LIS-related coding
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse (NMC)
* Qualified in Phlebotomy
* Experience in chronic disease clinics (e.g. diabetes, respiratory)
* Training in cervical cytology and immunisations
Experience
* Minimum 2 years experience in primary care or general practice
* Experience managing long-term conditions and minor illness
* Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
* Experience with EMIS Web
