South Staffordshire College is seeking a passionate, energetic, and enthusiastic Arboriculture Lecturer to join our successful Land-based team at Rodbaston campus.
This role supports growth in the area and involves delivering and assessing a range of Arboriculture study programmes and apprenticeships. The successful candidate will also focus on managing learner progress and developing study programmes, apprenticeships, and short courses in their specialist field.
Applicants should have relevant, up-to-date industrial experience in their sector, be qualified to Level 3 or above in their specialist subject, and hold or be willing to complete a teacher training qualification if required. A range of qualifications in felling, climbing, and aerial rescue is also necessary.
The ideal candidate will hold or be working towards a professional teaching qualification, have experience in delivery, and demonstrate a passion for delivering innovative, interactive sessions. They should also be capable of providing support, inspiration, and guidance to learners. Flexibility, excellent organizational skills, and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
