Christian Community Ministries (CCM) was established in 2003 to provide administrative, financial, development, and human resource services to a growing network of Christian schools throughout Australia. Today, it owns and operates fifteen schools – eight in Queensland, one in New South Wales, one in the ACT, three in South Australia, two in Western Australia, and an outdoor education facility. Early Learning Centres are associated with seven of our schools. Approximately 7,600 students receive Christian schooling through CCM. The aim of CCM is to provide a values-based, Christian education for all who desire it.
Applications are invited for the position of Student Information System Coordinator, based at the CCM Central Administration Office at Kingston (QLD). This position is part of a team providing a range of student system management support services to CCM's Colleges.
Position Summary
The Student Information System Coordinator plays a critical role in managing, optimizing, and integrating the Student Information System (SIS), currently Edumate, and related platforms such as EnrolHQ and CarerOrbit. This position ensures system performance, functionality, and compliance with relevant guidelines, supports continuous process improvement, and develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities
SIS Management & Optimization - Ensure the system meets organizational needs, delivering optimal performance and functionality.
Stakeholder Collaboration- Work closely with academic and administrative staff to enhance system usability and address operational needs.
Data Management & Reporting - Manage data reporting requirements through SQL queries, integrate data across platforms, and maintain effective relationships with software vendors.
Technical Support & Training - Provide technical support and training to end users, ensuring effective system usage and skill development.
Process Development & Improvement - Develop and refine operational processes, create SOPs, and identify opportunities for system improvements.
Required Experience
Demonstrated experience in database management, including writing and optimizing SQL queries.
Proven ability to manage and optimize SIS platforms such as Edumate, EnrolHQ, and CarerOrbit.
Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to high-quality service.
Experience in delivering system training and user support.
