Location: WalsallType: Full-Time (36 hours per week - 3 shifts)Pay Rate: £12.80 per hour

* Nights: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM (working across a 7-day rota)
* Days: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM (working across a 7-day rota)

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for experienced and reliable Senior Care Assistants to join our dedicated care team in a residential care home in Walsall, specialising in dementia and mental health care. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will lead by example, ensuring the delivery of person-centred, high-quality care throughout each shift.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer medication in accordance with policies and procedures
* Lead and supervise care staff on shift, ensuring smooth handovers and continuity of care
* Support and guide junior staff in the delivery of high standards of personal and emotional care
* Carry out and update individual care plans
Experience & Qualifications Required
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
* Previous experience working in a residential care home, ideally with dementia and mental health residents
* Experience supervising or leading a care team
* Trained and competent in medication administration
