Location: Sheffield (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 from home)

Are you a driven sales professional looking for a mission-led role with commercial impact? Join Tes Institute, the teacher training and development arm of Tes, and help expand access to world-class training programmes for educators across the UK.

We’re looking for a Business Development Executive who thrives in a consultative sales environment and is excited to help schools and trusts solve real challenges around recruitment, retention, and professional development. You’ll build strong relationships, manage a high-quality pipeline, and deliver growth across our teacher training portfolio.

What you’ll be doing:

* Drive B2B sales of Tes Institute’s Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programmes across the UK
* Develop trusted relationships with MATs, schools, HEIs, and training providers
* Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline through CRM (Salesforce)
* Create and deliver tailored proposals and client solutions
* Identify bid and tender opportunities and contribute to commercial strategy
* Represent Tes at events and be a visible advocate for our education mission
* Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience

What we’re looking for:

* Proven success in B2B or B2B2C sales, ideally in education, SaaS, or professional services
* Experience building relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
* Commercially curious, target-driven, and comfortable with long-cycle consultative sales
* Strong communicator with a solutions-first mindset
* Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce experience a plus)
* Knowledge of the education or training sector is an advantage, but not essential
