We are looking for a
post-doctoral researcher to work in Translational Research Immunology Group (TRIG) on translational, collaborative project funded by EU. You will be placed in the Institute of Developmental and Regenerative Medicine on the Old Road Campus working in a close collaboration with the Oxford Kidney Pathology group. You will work closely with members of TRIG and Oxford Kidney Pathology groups, including students, other post-docs and research assistants as well as international collaborators within the EU consortium. You will be responsible for testing T cell therapeutics developed by our consortium, using in vivo models of glomerular immune complex disease as well as the establishment of a novel model for IgA Nephropathy. Additionally, you will contribute to spatial transcriptomics and proteomics in human IgAN kidney samples. About you You will hold a PhD (or be near to completion: thesis submitted) in a relevant area at the time of application and will have experience in immunology or kidney disease field. Experience with cell culture techniques, animal models and immunological techniques is required. You will have demonstrated the ability to work independently within projects, with the ability to communicate results clearly and succinctly in presentations, manuscripts and grant applications. Experience with flow cytometry and genetic editing techniques as well as knowledge of kidney disease are desirable.
