Job Title: Motor Vehicle Lecturer
Location: Widnes
Salary: £35-45p/h
Position: Temporary Part-time (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)
Eden Brown is looking for a dynamic and dedicated Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join a leading further education college on a temporary, part-time basis (Wednesday to Friday). This role will involve teaching Level 1 Motor Vehicle, providing an exciting opportunity to inspire and guide students as they develop their skills in these practical, hands-on fields.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to students in Level 1 Motor Vehicle.
*Plan and prepare effective lessons, resources, and assessments to ensure students achieve their learning goals.
*Provide practical demonstrations and hands-on instruction in motor vehicle maintenance, construction, and engineering.
*Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support to promote their development.
*Ensure that health and safety protocols are followed during practical sessions.
*Contribute to the department's growth by staying up-to-date with industry standards and sharing expertise with colleagues.
Requirements:
*Relevant qualification in Motor Vehicle Engineering (Level 3 or above) or equivalent.
*Teaching qualification (PTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
*Experience teaching or training in a motor vehicle, construction, or engineering-related field.
*Strong communication and organizational skills.
*Ability to engage and inspire students, particularly in practical, hands-on learning environments.
*A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety in all practical activities.
A DBS is required for this role.
