We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Senior Development Officer, within a national policing unit.
More about the role
The Senior Development Officer role focuses on improving, enhancing, and developing the services provided by ACRO, while also strengthening the support offered to our staff. This may involve leading smaller initiatives or collaborating on larger, strategic projects. These projects span across ACRO, national policing, and international law enforcement, requiring close engagement with stakeholders both in the UK and overseas.
You will also work alongside other departments within ACRO to build on existing initiatives, identify new opportunities, and integrate them into the organisation. You will be responsible for managing your own work and will lead a small team of ACRO Development Officers who will support you in successful delivery. Your focus will always be on ACRO’s strategic plan, and you will report into the management team on your delivery.
You will be a key contributor within the Strategy & Development Team responsible for generating ideas and driving them through to completion as well as responsible for supporting the strategic direction of ACRO and working collaboratively with all internal business departments to guide, align, and support the delivery of organisational objectives.
To fulfil the requirements of this role, the successful candidate may need to travel both within the UK and internationally, which could involve overnight stays.
If you would like to find out more information about the role, please see the role profile.
