Job Duties
The Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as the Security Operations Manager in the Infrastructure Services Division.
This position will direct and manage Directory Services to include Active Directory Domain services, OKTA SSO services, along with DDI (DNS, DHCP & IPAM).
This position will be in charge of creating a dynamic team in charge of all ICAM services, OLAs, and financial aspects across the Platform supporting all of VITA's environments - Clouds and hybrid clouds.
The position oversees a mix of FTEs, contractors, and services via SOW to ensure service quality, flexibility, and bench strength.
Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure Services, this position will work across the enterprise - VITA and VITA suppliers - to support all of the defined ICAM functions on a 24/7 basis.
The manager will review, oversee and provide direction on all ICAM related initiatives with direct oversight of the projects, operations, and procedures required to be implemented and supported. Development of enterprise services and categorized for billing purposes supporting VITAs business model is required.
Collaboration with the Security and Architecture teams to ensure security of the COV environments is imperative.
Candidate should possess necessary leadership skills to drive the efficient management of everyday operations, delivery of solutions via the Service Portfolio Lifecycle process, and conduct architecture and baseline reviews of all related services and changes.

Minimum Qualifications
• Comprehensive ICAM experience in industry.
• Knowledge and experience with security best practices, standards and practices.
• Technical awareness and understanding of technology and process for managing IT infrastructure services.
• Understands best practices in service management including contract and vendor management in an outsourcing or shared service environment.
• Proven ability to manage delivery of services to negotiated Service Level Agreements (internal and external).
• Skilled in oral and written communication as it pertains to interpreting technical information and business needs.
• Demonstrated ability to work with management, customers, and vendors to resolve problems.
• Proven ability to manage projects using project management methodology, interpret complex information and provide informed analyses.
• Azure, AWS or other public cloud deployment and support knowledge.
• Experience managing key vendor relationships with demonstrated benefits to the business through strong relationship management.
• Skilled in interpreting complex information and providing informed analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to bring problems to resolution regardless of diversity and level of seniority of those involved.
• Experience in monitoring IT environments for compliance with information security architecture policies and standards.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and acquiring new skills/knowledge to meet customer needs.
Additional Considerations
• Preferred Certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional - Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Cloud Security Professional, Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional, or ITIL Foundations certification.
