Role Purpose
Care for the welfare of livestock in the holding areas.
Role Requirements
* Always maintain Animal Welfare
* Unload livestock
* Locate/transfer livestock into designated holding areas
* Maintain accurate records of livestock arrivals
* Notify manager of any animal welfare issues or documentation discrepancies
* Maintain and safely operate tools and equipment
* Deal with animal waste in accordance with processes
* Complete duties within the required timescale
* Work in accordance with animal welfare requirements.
* Any other duties as required by management and within the competency of the post holder.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 6am start, average of 40hrs/week
