The role: We are recruiting a full time Payroll Administrator to join the Pay and Conditions Team, delivering payroll services for Gloucestershire County Council and several external clients. You will work at the centre of the council, providing cost effective, timely services and ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance and solid customer support. You will process payroll payments, handle pay queries via the ContactUs helpline and offer guidance on employment terms and conditions. Key accountabilities: End to end payroll processing Handling pay and tax queries professionally Providing accurate guidance on terms and conditions Ensuring all payroll activity meets statutory and monthly deadlines Maintaining high service levels for internal and external customers Requirements/key criteria: Strong payroll background Good knowledge of payroll processes and compliance Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands High level of accuracy and attention to detail How to Apply Quote the Job Title and Reference Number in your application.
