Electronics Repair Technician Key Responsibilities:
Test, calibrate and repair a variety of instruments.
Carry out fault investigation and root cause analysis providing feedback to colleagues where required.
Maintain accurate records of instrument servicing and parts usage.
Ensure effective maintenance of workshop stock levels by timely ordering of replenishment.
Participate in the delivery of on''site service and calibration as required.
Handle internal and customer enquiries by telephone or in person as appropriate.
Assist with continuous improvement projects within the Service Centre.
Work safely and comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy.
Undertake any other reasonable job/task as and when required.
Comply with company procedures at all times.
Electronics Repair Technician Qualifications & Experience:
ONC Electrical /Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
Previous experience working within electronic repair/calibration of intrinsically safe equipment.
Ability to competently use a range of hand tools and perform hand soldering.
Capable of working to consistently high quality standards.
Able to interpret process documents and technical schematics.
Good basic engineering knowledge.
