Salary: £40,305 - £50,589 per year pro rata

Contract Type: Temporary

Position Type: Part Time

Hours: 21 hours per week


Job Requirements

Please note that this position is temporary. Salary will be be pro-rated for part-time hours.

Work pattern - 21 hours per week on Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday.

When applying, you will be asked to provide the names of two referees, but these are not required at this stage.

Print the role profile and Head Teacher's report and give them to your Head Teacher for completion.

To ensure your application is accepted, the signed and PDF-formatted Head Teacher report must be emailed from your Head Teacher to the application email. Please include the (EAD) reference number on the report.

The completed report should be submitted by your Head Teacher to the specified email address.

Failure to submit the report may result in your application being excluded from shortlisting.


PVG / Disclosure Scotland

This applies to all roles within East Dunbartonshire Council requiring PVG/Disclosure checks.

If the role is considered a Regulated Role under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020, successful candidates will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check before employment is confirmed. The cost of the check will be deducted from your first salary, or in some cases, in installments after employment begins, with approval from HR & OD.

If you leave employment before the deduction, the full amount will be deducted from your final salary.

This applies to both new applicants and existing employees applying for roles requiring PVG/Disclosure checks.
