Qualified Social Worker Adults
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced social worker to join our community social work team. Your role will involve working with adults to identify and understand their support requirements and to meet these in a way that maximises independence and helps prevent future need.
Using strength-based approaches, including working with community and voluntary groups, as well as utilising reablement and commissioned services. You will need to be confident and experienced in all legislative frameworks associated with Adult Social Care, linked to your social work practice. You should be able to work autonomously and demonstrate excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.
We value applications from those keen to support and strengthen our community. We offer training and support to develop your social work role, including protected CPD time, regular supervision, and diverse training packages.
You should be passionate about supporting our community in Blackpool, committed to your role, and eager to grow professionally in line with SWE protocols. We provide a visible management team and an induction to support your transition into this role.
