This is a senior-level position suitable for someone with deep technical expertise in hydrodynamic and installation analysis, and who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The role offers an excellent opportunity to take ownership of complex scopes, lead small analysis teams, and work closely with technical managers and project leads to deliver high-quality, data-driven engineering outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and execute hydrodynamic and installation analyses for subsea structures, pipelines, risers, and flexible products across multiple workstreams, including tenders, live projects, and offshore campaigns.
* Take technical responsibility for assigned scopes, ensuring analysis outputs meet quality, safety, and timeline expectations.
* Break down complex scopes into actionable tasks, coordinate deliverables, and manage internal and external interfaces as required.
* Deliver comprehensive engineering reports and analysis documentation, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
* Utilise software tools such as OrcaFlex, Simo, and Riflex to perform detailed subsea installation modelling, including lifting, lowering, hook-up, and lay operations.
* Support project engineering teams with technical insights during planning, execution, and offshore support phases.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of analysis practices, sharing knowledge and mentoring less experienced engineers.
* Engage in cross-disciplinary collaboration to enhance project integration and outcomes.
* Remain flexible and available for travel to offshore sites or other office locations when required.
Benefits:
* A dynamic and international working environment.
* Training and career progression opportunities.
* Competitive pension and medical insurance schemes.
