Teaching Assistant - Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) \nLocation: Across Central Birmingham Campuses (B10, B12, B23, B32)\nPay: From £105 per day \nContract: Full-Time, Ongoing\nStart Date: Immediate\n\nAre you someone who thrives in a role where no two days are the same? This forward-thinking provision supports around 440 pupils referred by the Local Authority - each with their own complex story and educational needs.\n\nThese pupils may be:\n\nPermanently excluded or at risk of exclusion\n\nOn an EHCP for behavioural, emotional or social difficulties\n\nExperiencing anxiety, depression or school-related trauma\n\n'Looked After' with no school placement\n\nFacing court involvement or remand\n\nCoping with a wide range of learning barriers and life challenges\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nAs a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with students on a 1:1 and small group basis, supporting not just academic learning but also emotional regulation, behaviour, and confidence building.
