Aspire People are currently recruiting for an experienced and confident Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school on a long-term maternity cover basis starting in September.
The school is looking for a strong KS2 practitioner who can quickly establish routines, build positive relationships, and maintain high standards across the classroom. This role will involve full teaching responsibilities and would suit a teacher who enjoys helping pupils develop confidence and independence as they progress through Lower KS2.
The leadership team has made it clear they are specifically looking for an experienced teacher who can confidently take on the role from the beginning of the academic year. Interviews are taking place ASAP, and there may be an opportunity to spend time in school before the summer break to support transition.
The Role:
* Full classroom teaching responsibility within a Year 4 class
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
* Supporting pupils with the transition into more independent learning
* Monitoring progress and adapting lessons to meet pupil needs
* Creating a positive and structured classroom environment
* Working collaboratively with the KS2 team and leadership staff
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have recent experience teaching within KS2
* Be confident with behaviour management and classroom organisation
* Have strong curriculum knowledge in Maths and English
* Be passionate about supporting pupil progress and attainment
* Be reliable, adaptable, and committed to long-term teaching
