Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Graduate Controls Engineer with PLC programming experience to join a well-established & growing engineering business in West Yorkshire. The successful Graduate Controls Engineer will have some knowledge of programming PLCs and be keen to learn and develop into a seasoned Controls Engineer.
The company has a clearly defined 3 year program where you’ll cover a range of different disciplines including panel wiring & testing and software development and integration.
Key aspects of the Graduate Controls Engineer role includes -
* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering or related field
* Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals and circuit analysis
* Knowledge of PLC programming concepts and industrial communication protocols
* Familiarity with electrical drafting software and engineering design principles
* Understanding of process control theory and instrumentation
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
* Willingness to travel for project commissioning and customer support
* Full UK Driving Licence
