As a Senior Support Worker, you will motivate, guide and lead by example. Your role involves supporting young people both in education settings and during off-site activities, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and personal development at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide emotional and physical support to young people
* Assist with daily routines and personal care where needed
* Act as a mentor to Support Workers, offering guidance and modelling best practice
* Maintain a safe, positive and structured environment
* Support with record-keeping, health monitoring and care plan updates
* Promote independence, communication and life skills
* Engage young people in meaningful, personalised activities
* Uphold safeguarding standards at all times
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 6 months’ SEN/childcare experience
* Experience supporting autistic young people or those with additional learning needs
* Full UK driving licence (rural setting)
* Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
* Strong communication, teamwork and leadership qualities
* Calm, professional and resilient approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
