We are currently looking for a Wet Finishing Operative to join our busy Wet Finishing department on a temporary basis. This is a full time post working - 6am - 2pm Monday to Thursday and 6am - 12pm Friday (38 hours) or 2pm - 12am Monday to Wednesday and 2pm - 10pm Thursday (38 hours) or A rotation of the 2 shifts above This is a temporary role, expected to run from May to September 2026. We can accept applications from those aged 16 years plus for this role (a change in hours may be applicable). Rate of pay starting from £13.08 per hour, increasing to £13.45 in May 2026, along with shift pay allowance (if you are working rotational shifts). About the Role As a Wet Finishing Operative, you will operate and monitor machinery that washes and processes cloth, transforming it from raw and greasy to clean, soft, and ready for further production stages. You will be: Operating and patrolling wet finishing machinery, including Pinwheel and Vapourdec machines Monitoring cloth quality throughout the finishing process Handling materials safely and in line with operating procedures Working as part of a team to meet production and quality standards No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
