Look no further! We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fire Risk Advisor to join our team at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.
The service is responsible for the effective identification of fire safety risks across the Council and supporting the development of solutions to reduce potential harm. The Council's diverse services provide a compelling environment for a Fire Safety professional.
In this role, you will be part of a team of highly competent Health & Safety professionals responding to the Council’s existing and emerging risks.
We seek a dynamic individual to support our plans for a high-performing Health and Safety Service and ensure its continuous development to meet future needs.
You will conduct fire risk assessments, fire safety audits/inspections, and DSEAR assessments of Council premises, sites, and work operations. You will use your fire risk management experience to provide expert advice, ensuring a safer environment for employees, visitors, and residents.
Please note: to be considered for this role, you must hold or be working towards membership of the Institution of Fire Safety Management (IFSM).
