The Graduate Events Programme Coordinator will play a central role in shaping and delivering CCBP's annual programme of events, including conferences, roundtables, and networking forums. This role requires a balance of forward planning, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on delivery to ensure CCBP's events provide thought leadership, industry collaboration, and a high-quality delegate experience.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Programme Development
- Develop and maintain the annual schedule of events through forward planning
* Plan event formats, agendas, and panel structures to align with CCBP's research pillars and industry priorities.
* Coordinate event logistics in collaboration with the Head of Operations, including venue arrangements, equipment, and delegate management.
Speaker & Stakeholder Management
- Identify and secure high-calibre speakers, panellists, and moderators.
* Act as the main liaison for speakers, hosting planning sessions and ensuring they are fully briefed ahead of events.
* Manage speaker information and profiles, providing accurate details to the Marketing team for event promotion and website updates.
Marketing & Communications Support
- Work closely with Marketing colleagues to develop communications and promotional campaigns for events.
* Provide content and updates for delegate communications, speaker announcements, and social media activity.
Event Delivery
* Support on-the-day delivery, acting as a key point of contact for speakers, delegates, and partners.
* Assist with set-up and close-down of events, including moving and arranging equipment and materials.
* Confidently represent CCBP during events, including introducing sessions, facilitating discussions, and engaging with delegates.
Skills & Experience
* Experience in planning and coordinating professional events, ideally within a networking, conference, or roundtable environment.
* Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including public speaking and presenting.
* Collaborative approach, with experience working across internal teams such as marketing and operations.
Physical & Practical Requirements
* Ability to travel and work flexibly, including occasional early mornings, evenings.
* Comfortable with standing for extended periods during events.
* Willingness to support with physical aspects of event set-up and close-down.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
