Job Title: Yard Shunter (AM Shift)
Location: Hereford
Pay Rates:
1. £16.50 per hour (Monday-Friday AM shifts)
2. £19.50 per hour (Weekends)

Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Yard Shunter to join our team in Hereford. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent AM shift work with competitive weekday and enhanced weekend pay rates.
Key Responsibilities:
3. Safely manoeuvring vehicles and trailers within the yard
4. Coupling and uncoupling trailers
5. Ensuring vehicles are positioned correctly for loading/unloading
6. Conducting basic vehicle checks and reporting defects
7. Working closely with the warehouse and transport teams to maintain efficient operations
8. Adhering to all health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
9. Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence preferred (may consider experienced shunters without)
10. Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card (if applicable)
11. Previous shunting or yard experience is essential
12. Good awareness of health and safety procedures
13. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
14. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Shift Pattern:
15. AM starts (exact times to be confirmed)
16. Weekend availability required
