This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Purpose / Overview
We are looking for an individual to drive the development of our business relationships with blue‑chip named Retail accounts in HPE Networking UK Enterprise, with a specific focus on driving revenues from our Campus & Branch, Data Centre and Security portfolios along with complementary services. The candidate will handle overall responsibility for a number of large Enterprise Accounts and will identify, develop and penetrate the accounts to sell our range of solutions and end‑to‑end services.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Present and sell at the highest levels – Executives, IT Management, and other Decision‑Makers
* Relationship management skills that translate into identifying decision‑makers and influencers
* Manage all necessary account administration including forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, short‑term, mid‑term, and long‑term opportunity management
* Engage resources including specialist sales and the BU's to drive opportunities as necessary
* Position end‑to‑end solutions and articulate HPE Networking strategies to senior customer executives
* Provide accurate and timely forecasts to sales management
Person Specification / Key Capabilities, Competencies and Qualifications
* Extensive experience selling into FTSE100/250 accounts in the UK enterprise market with strong references, closing business in the Retail sector
* A strong understanding of the Retail market, their business models and the challenges they are facing
* Experience developing sales strategies, preparing proposals & quotes and presenting networking solutions
* Proven experience running large Global accounts
* Knowledge of GSI, Service Providers and the wider partner eco‑system
* Working knowledge of HPE Networking portfolio would be an advantage
* The ideal candidate would have previously worked with leading Retail customer Groups.
* Ability to manage large existing accounts whilst also running acquisition programs targeting new logo break‑in
* Broad‑based technological awareness, complemented by knowledge of data networking concepts
* Awareness of competitive solutions and sales strategies
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
* Ability to manage our CXO engagement
* Strong presenter and closer with the ability to demonstrate the necessary skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners and customers
* Excellent business acumen
* Good relationship building and consultative skills
* Ability to prioritise in a dynamic ever‑changing environment
