The Role and Responsibilities
An opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Rigging & Lifting Technician to join our Equipment Rental Business Line here at EnerMech in Aberdeen. This is a permanent onshore position to be based in the workshop, with opportunity for overtime.
The role will involve carrying out the inspection, repair and testing of all rigging and lifting equipment in accordance with both in-house procedures and LOLER regulations. You will also be tasked with the inspection and recertification of client owned equipment - this would all be done under supervision under deemed competent to do so.
The Requirements
To be successful for this position you must be from a mechanical background and want to work in a hands on environment. Previous experience working in a workshop or yard would be advantageous. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door with an Oil/Gas/Energy service provider and gain invaluable experience.
