Project Engineer Bradford, £40k DOE Excellent opportunity to join a well-established business in Bradford managing engineering & construction projects from order, through manufacturing, delivery and installation. Excellent organisational and customer service skills are essential as is a confident understanding of engineering drawings and processes. The role: Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects Monitor compliance to applicable contracts, codes, practices, QA & QC policies, performance standards and specifications Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements Perform overall quality control of the work overseeing budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance and report regularly on project status Cooperate and communicate effectively with general manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions Manage and undertake the financial aspects of the projects including any compensation events and early warnings. Ensure all drawings are correct, bills of materials are accurate, parts are delivered on time and project is installed, commissioned in the required manner and time scales Run an efficient project and site that complies to regulatory requirements, ensure equipment is calibrated and safe, raise action logs to support corrective action and root cause analysis The person: Proven working experience as a project engineer managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously Excellent knowledge of design and visualisations software such as AutoCAD Experience in a customer-facing role. Highly organized and people-oriented. Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong problem-solving, Decision making ability and leadership skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards The company: Well-established family business with a strong client base and full order book they have a great reputation in their field.
