Receptionist / Health Care Assistant required for a busy General Practice
Primarily based at the Cowal Medical Practice- Dunoon, you will support the Practice Manager with general office tasks and participate in team activities including reception duties.
You should be competent at all administrative skills. A flexible attitude and good communication skills are essential. You must have considerable recent general administrative office experience. Good keyboard skills and the ability to work as part of a team are a prerequisite. Experience of Microsoft Office is imperative.
You will also be trained in Health Care Assistant duties – which may include taking bloods, giving vaccinations, dealing with specimens as required by the practice and new patient medicals. You will receive full formal theoretical training and supervised practice, within the health centre environment.
A driving license is desirable as you may have to provide cover for our other practice in Rothesay.
