Overview

Are you looking to start a rewarding career in the NHS? Join NHS Dumfries & Galloway as a Support Services Assistant. We deliver Domestic, Portering and Linen Services within wards and departments across healthcare and other designated properties, contributing to the delivery of patient care in line with Quality Improvement Scotland recommendations.

You will have the opportunity to work across various departments, interacting with staff and patients and contributing to providing a clean and safe environment for everyone. This role is an excellent starting point for expanding your knowledge and building a career within NHS D&G. Applicants must be prepared to work flexibly across the Dumfries sites – Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary, Mountainhall Treatment Centre or Midpark Hospital.


Responsibilities

* Deliver Domestic, Portering and Linen Services within wards and departments across healthcare and other designated properties.
* Contribute to the delivery of patient care by maintaining a clean and safe environment in line with organisational guidelines.
* Interact with staff and patients across departments to support service delivery.
