Role Overview

The school is seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join the front office team.

The Receptionist will act as the first point of contact for visitors, parents and students, ensuring that enquiries are handled efficiently and that the school office operates smoothly throughout the day.

This role requires someone who is organised, approachable and able to manage a variety of tasks within a busy school environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and manage the school reception area
• Answer telephone enquiries and direct calls appropriately
• Respond to email enquiries and provide administrative support
• Manage visitor sign-in procedures and ensure reception security protocols are followed
• Provide information to parents, students and visitors
• Assist with student enquiries during the school day
• Maintain accurate records and update administrative systems
• Support the wider administrative team with general office tasks
• Coordinate deliveries and incoming mail
• Assist with organising meetings and appointments
• Maintain a tidy and professional reception area
• Support communication between departments where required


Candidate Profile

The school is seeking a candidate who is professional, approachable and able to manage front-of-house responsibilities effectively.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Experience working in a reception or customer service role
