Nurse Manager-Mansfield-£65K-Small Service We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to lead a small, highly regarded residential care home in Mansfield. About the Role As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care and that all regulatory requirements, including CQC standards, are consistently met. You will lead a dedicated team, supporting and developing staff, promoting a positive culture, and maintaining excellent relationships with residents, families, and external professionals. You will have the autonomy to shape the service while benefiting from the support of a stable management team, enabling you to focus on delivering exceptional care rather than addressing staffing or compliance challenges. Key Responsibilities • Leading, motivating, and developing staff to deliver person-centred care. • Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations, health and safety, and company policies. • Overseeing resident care, medication management, safeguarding, and care planning. • Managing budgets, staffing, and operational resources efficiently. • Building and maintaining positive relationships with residents, families, and local healthcare professionals. • Conducting audits, inspections, and staff appraisals to maintain high standards. Skills & Experience Required • Proven experience as a Registered Manager or senior Deputy Manager in a residential care setting. • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, health and safety, safeguarding, and care quality standards. • Active nurse pin • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, residents, families, and external professionals. • Experience in managing budgets, resources, and operational performance. • Commitment to delivering person-centred care and maintaining high standards. • NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
