Job Summary:
To undertake prescribed maintenance tasks as directed by the Engineering Supervisor. The post holder will work with a small team on a rotating day shift roster, including weekends. Responsibilities include planned maintenance and unscheduled work.
Salary: £52,171 + 3% shift allowance per annum.
Main Responsibilities:
* Identify and diagnose faults; carry out repairs, adjustments, and maintenance.
* Perform routine servicing and repairs in accordance with schedules.
* Adopt a flexible approach to other skills or trades for cost-effective task completion.
* Undertake other skilled tasks as demonstrated competence allows.
* Monitor plant and record data as instructed.
* Ensure plant and equipment efficiency by following set requirements.
* Maintain cleanliness and order in working areas.
* Comply with Health & Safety policies and report hazards.
* Complete daily time/task sheets as per procedures.
* Perform other duties as requested by supervisors.

Technical Requirements:
Full-time apprenticeship in electrical or Building Services HVAC with City & Guilds 236 parts 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3; mechanical apprenticeship with electrical experience acceptable; experience in modern building maintenance; basic HVAC knowledge; desirable to have completed Electrical Installation (BS7671:2018) 18th edition.
