Aotea Security (NZ) Ltd, Christchurch Branch, is experiencing considerable growth in security, access control, CCTV, and nurse call systems installation.
An opportunity is now available for the right individual to join our progressive and innovative security team. Core duties will involve estimating, job management, and staff supervision.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years of commercial experience managing a team of Security and CCTV installation technicians
* Previous industry technical experience preferred
* Current Security Guard’s Licence / Police clearance
* Current Drivers Licence
* No criminal or civil convictions or record
* Ability to obtain (or have) a COA
* Ability to work in NZ
The successful applicant should have:
* Ability to set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that align with our plans and vision
* Organizational skills to manage workflow and ensure employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
* Experience monitoring employee productivity, providing constructive feedback, and coaching
* Significant experience with security, CCTV, access control, and nurse call systems
* Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in high-pressure environments
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation and plans
* Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills, with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Self-motivated and highly self-directed
* Experience working collaboratively in team-oriented environments
* Ability to manage financial progress and outcomes of projects
* Skills to manage and coordinate staff on assigned projects
* Capability to design security systems based on client and consultant requests
