A vacancy has arisen at our Galleywood Surgery for a paid position of Kennel Assistant. The role includes assistingveterinary staff at the end of the day with cleaning and preparation for the following day. The hours required are 5pm to 7pm Mondays to Friday.

The role involves:-
· Environmental and patient hygiene/ infection control – cleaning and disinfection of kennels, laundry etc
· The preparation of the patient or environment for procedure, as instructed by the team.
· Ensure the practice premises and equipment are kept tidy and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and function
· Including the preparation of equipment for procedures, i.e. clean & sterilize instruments
