Job Description
The Transport Manager will be responsible for;
* Oversee and manage all transport operations within the company
* Develop and implement strategic plans to improve transport services
* Ensure compliance with all relevant transport regulations and legislation
* Lead and manage the logistics team, promoting a positive work environment
* Continuously review processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
* Handle any transport-related issues or complaints promptly and professionally
* Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless operations
* Promote and enforce safety standards within the transport department
The Successful Applicant
A successful Transport Manager should have:
* Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry
* Excellent knowledge of transport regulations and legislation
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving abilities
* The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Relevant qualifications in logistics or a related field
* Commutable Daily to Tewkesbury
