Job Description
3. Manage daily banking transactions and reconcile accounts accurately.
4. Ensure compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules.
5. Process client and office account payments and receipts promptly.
6. Maintain accurate financial records and produce reports as required.
7. Handle VAT returns and assist with audits when necessary.
8. Monitor and manage client account balances effectively.
9. Support the team with general administrative tasks related to accounting and finance.
10. Respond to financial queries from clients and colleagues in a timely manner.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Part Time Accounts Assistant should have:
11. Experience working in a legal or professional services accounting environment.
12. A strong understanding of Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules.
13. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
14. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
15. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
16. The ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
