This role is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality administrative support to Undergraduate (UG) medical students and Foundation Year (FY) resident doctors. The postholder will work in alignment with the curriculum requirements of Brighton and Sussex Medical School and Kings College London, as well as Foundation School and NHS England (NHSE) standards.
Main duties of the job
The role provides dedicated support to Undergraduate Educational Leads and Foundation Year Training Programme Directors, ensuring all activities comply with the NHSE Education Funding Agreement (2024-2027). As a key member of the Integrated Medical Education team, the postholder will contribute to the smooth delivery of education programmes and collaborate closely with colleagues, providing cross-cover and support when required to maintain service continuity.

Qualifications
* NVQ in administration Level 3 or equivalent
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
* Evidence of CPD to diploma level or equivalent
* NVQ Level 4/Apprenticeship in Business Administration Level 4
* ECDL / Advanced Microsoft Office skills
* Ability to use AV equipment
Experience
* Positive and proactive commitment to the delivery of high‑quality service
* Experience of minute taking and meetings management
* Proven experience in managing competing administrative priorities
* Experience in NHS administration
Skills
* Knowledge of the Internet as a source of educational material
* Ability to collate, manage and produce data and information for reports required by line managers, senior line managers including the Deputy Head of Medical Education, Library & Knowledge Services, Director of Medical Education and Assistant Director HR (Education).
* Ability to problem‑solve non‑complex issues – escalating to line managers, senior managers as required.
