My client is a global biopharmaceutical company focused on healthcare innovation and environmental sustainability, aiming to improve people's quality of life. They are seeking an Associate Director, Safety Science to join their pharmacovigilance team.

Your new role
The Associate Director of Safety Science will perform signal detection activities, prepare safety reports, review ICSRs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate safety signals.
* Perform medical review of ICSRs and aggregate safety data, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
* Follow-up on important ICSRs for relevant information.
* Collaborate with Clinical Science, Medical Affairs, PV colleagues, and other specialists to identify and manage safety signals.
* Develop safety surveillance and risk management plans for drug development.
* Prepare safety reports such as 15-day Alert Reports, SUSARs, PSURs, PBRERs, US PADERs, Annual Safety Reports, DSURs, and IND Annual Reports.
* Participate in safety management teams and liaise with various stakeholders including clinical teams, CROs, and Data Monitoring Committees.
* Assist with safety labeling, RMPs, and review safety sections of clinical documents.
* Interface with business partners according to safety Data Exchange Agreements.
What you'll need to succeed
BSN, RN, PharmD, MD, DO, or equivalent qualification.
Extensive pharmacovigilance and safety science experience, including aggregate data review, report production, ICSR review, and external engagement.
Ability to interpret and present scientific data clearly.
Knowledge of safety database systems.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize independently.
Excellent communication skills.
Innovative decision-making and problem-solving skills.
