Responsibilities
* Lead asset allocation research within the Multi‑Asset team, creating well‑considered investment views for portfolio managers.
* Support portfolio managers by communicating investment views to clients and conveying the team’s research to internal stakeholders.
* Conduct research across all asset classes—equities, fixed income, currencies, and commodities—considering macroeconomic and market‑based factors.
* Generate investment views for client mandates, including regional equity tilts, credit rating preferences, and currency hedging decisions.
* Communicate investment views and the broader macroeconomic backdrop to clients, the press, and internal meetings, presenting research in weekly and monthly updates.
* Produce written content for client reports and market commentaries on economic topics and events.
* Provide day‑to‑day support such as generating performance reports and writing commentaries.
* Carry out other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Strong interest in financial markets and macroeconomic research, with the ability to perform independent, autonomous analysis.
* Experience constructing econometric models.
* Experience researching equity or fixed‑income markets from a top‑down, asset‑allocation perspective.
* Flexibility to cover the full breadth of asset classes (equities, fixed income, currencies and commodities).
* Ability to adapt to and develop the team’s analytical frameworks.
* Understanding of the key instruments used to implement multi‑asset portfolios, such as funds, ETFs, equities, bonds, futures, forwards and derivatives.
* Experience manipulating market and economic data in complex spreadsheets.
* Excellent communication skills, with a track record of delivering presentations and written research.

* Python programming skills.
* Language skills for communicating with international clients.
