We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join a welcoming early years setting in High Wycombe, starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting children in their first years of formal education. The nursery provides a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where children develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning. As a Nursery Teacher, you will plan and deliver play-based and structured activities that support children’s learning and development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging nursery activities in line with EYFS Support children’s personal, social, emotional, and communication development Observe, assess, and record children’s progress Work 1:1 or with small groups as needed Promote positive behaviour and routines Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers Collaborate with nursery support staff and colleagues Maintain a safe, organised, and stimulating learning environment Follow safeguarding, health, and safety policies Contribute to staff meetings and professional development The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will: Hold QTS or Early Years teaching qualification Have experience working in nursery or EYFS settings Be nurturing, patient, and child-centred Be creative, organised, and reflective in practice Have strong communication and teamwork skills Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children The nursery is located in High Wycombe, with good transport links and a supportive local community.
