Pertemps is recruiting experienced Vehicle Technicians to join a busy and well‑equipped workshop in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified mechanics looking for long‑term stability, regular hours and the chance to work on a varied fleet of light commercial vehicles, cars and vans.
Role
You’ll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a range of vehicles including cars, vans and light commercial vehicles (LCVs). Working within a professional workshop team, you’ll use modern equipment and diagnostic tools to ensure vehicles are maintained to a high standard.
Duties
* Routine servicing and vehicle maintenance
* Mechanical and electrical repairs
* Fault finding and diagnostics
* MOT preparation
* Inspections and safety checks
* Working efficiently to meet workshop deadlines

Requirements
* IMI Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
* Previous experience working on cars, vans or light commercial vehicles
* Good diagnostic and repair skills
* Own basic toolkit preferred
* Full UK driving licence
* Reliable, hardworking and team‑focused attitude
