The Role
* Major regeneration construction project near Reading valued at £500m. The project involves the construction of several new build commercial buildings.
* Delivering a portfolio of complex building packages valued between £5m-£20m each.
* All packages are being delivered using NEC4 Contracts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver the commercial strategy for a section of a major building project from the initial calculations to close out.
2. Negotiate with subcontractors, award contracts that achieve estimated costs and project strategy.
3. Ongoing management of subcontractors, achieving the required standards and quality.
4. NEC contract management, minimising costs and risks, while enhancing value for money.
5. Negotiate and submit claims, variations and compensation events.
6. Prepare commercial progress and financial reconciliation reports.
