Job Overview
Part‑time Saturday Retail Sales Advisor – 8 hours per week, 13.48 £ per hour, plus pension and company benefits. Candidates must be 18+ due to lone working obligations.
Location: PaintWell store, Tunbridge Wells (Lamberts Road). Branch opens Monday‑Friday 7:00 am‑5:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am‑12:00 pm (will change to 8:00 am‑5:00 pm from 1 May 2026). The role is committed to working on bank holidays as part of the rota.
Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service and uphold the store’s reputation for quality.
* Use product knowledge to recommend solutions and help customers find suitable products.
* Mix paint for customers, process orders, and request stock from the intra‑branch network.
* Develop sales of company product ranges.
* Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and offer comprehensive service.
* Promote seasonal and special items, including in‑store merchandising to increase sales.
* Assist with stock maintenance: unloading deliveries, storing stock per procedure, and distributing goods across the store.
Qualifications
* Exceptional customer‑service and communication skills.
* Approachable, friendly, and willing to help customers and colleagues.
* Team player yet capable of working independently.
* Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within the industry.
* Previous retail experience is a plus but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
