Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cheerleading Coach to lead our brand new cheerleading programme. The ideal candidate will possess strong coaching and teaching skills, with a focus on fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among our cheerleaders. This role involves developing cheer routines, training athletes, and promoting a positive environment that encourages personal growth and athletic excellence.
Duties
* Develop and implement training programmes that enhance the skills of cheerleaders in stunts, jumps, and choreography.
* Conduct regular practice sessions, ensuring that all athletes are engaged and progressing in their abilities.
* Teach proper techniques for safety in stunts and tumbling to prevent injuries.
* Organise and lead team-building activities to foster camaraderie among team members.
* Collaborate with parents, school officials, and other coaches to promote the cheerleading programme effectively.
* Attend competitions and events to support the team, providing guidance and motivation during performances.
* Evaluate individual athlete performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
Requirements
* A recognised cheerleading qualification is essential
* Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate young athletes.
* A thorough understanding of cheerleading techniques, safety protocols, and competition standards.
* Ability to create a positive learning environment that encourages participation from all team members.
* First Aid certification is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is required.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.26-£18.00 per hour
