Material QC Inspector – Energy Project
Location: Talacre | Start: Jan 2026
Contract: Outside IR35 - £530 per day
Eligibility: UK residents with permanent right to work
ARM is recruiting for a Material QC Inspector to support a major Decommissioning & Carbon Capture (CCS) project in Liverpool Bay. This role supports site-based quality control across all incoming materials, equipment and documentation.
Role Overview
* Inspect and verify all incoming materials/equipment
* Carry out visual and dimensional checks to project specs
* Prepare MRR/MIR and update the client on the received goods
* Ensure compliance with Codes, Standards, QC Plans, and ITPs
* Maintain accurate certificates, inspection record,s and As-Built documentation
* Produce inspection reports and NCRs
* Support and oversee subcontractor QC activities
About You
* 5+ years’ QC/material control experience in Oil & Gas construction
* Relevant technical diploma/degree
* Strong QC understanding across structural/mechanical/civil/electrical items
* International QC certifications (advantageous)
* Good MS365/Excel skills
