Requirements
Office Location: Birmingham
Office
* Conduct Pre Delivery Inspections and report of any defects or issues for goods in to Quality Departments.
* Process Warranty claims from our dealers for approval by line manager. Liaising with Tech Support when neccesary.
* Creating reports for any warranty claims and send to Tech Support/ Warranty Department
* Support weekly warranty meetings with line manager.
* Liaise with OEM Warranty Departments on outstanding issues.
* Prepare customer quotations for service visit requests.
* Management of Parts sales including preparation and dispatch of sales/ warranty parts.
Warehouse
* On/Off load generator deliveries from factory and customers.
* On/Off load supplier deliveries and despatches.
* Manage genset stock including collection/delivery planning, general warehouse efficiency.
* Pre-delivery inspections of sold products and ensure paperwork completed and assigned.
* Management of parts inventory including restocking and maintenance of area.
Site Based
* Supervise the devining progress, if required.
* Visiting customer sites for warranty claims (Inspection and on site repair for Teksan issues)
* Support customer engineering teams for Teksan engineering and servicing needs.
* Assist the engine manufacurers field service departments on site, if required.
* Generator servicing at customer locations.
Qualifications
* Technical degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering (or HND/HNC or equivalent)
* Minimum 3+ years of experience in diesel and gas generator maintenance
* Hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities,
* Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems,
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications,
* At least 1 year of experience using SAP systems ,
* At least 1 year of experience with CRM tools,
* Familiarity with health & safety standards and procedures ,
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills,
* Ability to work independently and in field conditions,
* Good organizational and reporting skills,
