About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Manager to lead an area of the Arranging Support Team within the Care Direct Plus South and South West Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality services that make a real difference to people’s lives.
The Arranging Support Team is responsible for sourcing care and support from external providers, ensuring individuals receive the right services to meet their needs. In this role, you will also work closely with Strategic Commissioners through the Quality Team and Contracts Team, ensuring that all activity aligns with the authority’s contract and commissioning agreements.
You will work collaboratively with Team Manager colleagues within the Arranging Support Team (AST), the wider Care Direct Plus (CDP) Centre, and be an active member of the Leadership Group. As part of your role, you will also engage and work with Team Manager colleagues from other Care Direct Plus Centres, supporting consistency and best practice across the service.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage an area of the Arranging Support Team, ensuring effective service delivery and staff support.
Oversee the sourcing of care and support from external providers, ensuring quality and adherence to commissioning agreements.
Collaborate with Strategic Commissioners, the Quality Team, and Contracts Team to maintain alignment with the authority’s contract and commissioning frameworks.
Work closely with Team Manager colleagues within AST, the wider CDP Centre, and other Care Direct Plus Centres to share best practice and deliver consistent services.
Actively contribute as a member of the Leadership Group, supporting strategic development and service improvement.
Commit to the ongoing development of the team, the service, and your own professional growth.
Promote a positive working environment and culture that values teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
